The Blue Sage Center for the Arts began in 1994, when two yoga teachers, a dancer and an aerobics instructor got together to rent a small storefront on Grand Avenue in Paonia.  Since then the Blue Sage organization has grown from its role as a small community center to a comprehensive charitable organization serving the arts and humanities in the North Fork Valley. Today, the Blue Sage is recognized as the heart of the community’s arts and humanities cultures, and continually strives to broaden its ability to serve the community.

At the Blue Sage Center for the Arts you will find classes, lectures, concerts, literary performances and art exhibits focused on creating opportunities for people to celebrate and engage with one another including:
