Idahmay Demarest

Idahmay Demarest has lived in Crawford CO for three years.  She became a Colorado resident five years ago, and is from Lafayette, La.  She has three children and two grandchildren.

Ms. Demarest has two Master’s from Columbia (Occupational Safety and Health & Organizational Leadership), a Bachelor’s of Animal Science and an Associate degree in Equine Exercise Physiology, as well as twelve certificates. 

During her 30-plus years of education, she also groomed dogs for over 35 years, served in the Army and Navy, served 3 years as eye-glass chairwoman for St.Landy Parish Lion’s Club, was a past member of SE Louisiana Toastmasters, and served for over 10 years as volunteer coordinator for various festivals. 

Idahmay is now setting her sights on opening her own business in the North Fork Valley.
