Experience the Amazing Beauty of Local Peaks in Paonia…
You might notice that when you travel up the valley to Paonia that the mountains suddenly seem closer. Mount Lamborn looms over the town like a beautiful brooding giant. The taller, but more distant, Mount Gunnison behind it to the east seems within walking distance in the clear Colorado mountain air.
Like everyone else who decides to spend some quality time visiting this valley, you will probably feel the urge to get out into and maybe up on top of, these mountains.
